About Merlin

Through God’s inspiration to unify the Body of Christ, Merlin Gonzales developed the concept of ”Mission Trips in Your Own Backyard” and implemented this concept through Faith, Hope and Love Week as a yearly volunteer mobilization and leadership training tool. Merlin Gonzales is the Founder and President of FHL International Inc. His passion to disciple and to bring the love of God to local communities through acts of kindness began Faith, Hope and Love Community, Inc. in 2005. He has honed his leadership skills working as an accountant, as a corporate recruiter, and as a business owner. He is currently a co-host for Wish TV 8′s ”Religion In The News” program while serving as a guest speaker and church consultant. His focus is on helping pastors to reach out to their communities to raise and train leaders. Merlin is also an Author; his first book, "The Kingdom in Our Midst" was released on Dec. 6, 2012. In Nov. 2013, Merlin officially launched the concept of "Food Pantry Incubation", a well-developed experiential training to start and establish neighborhood food pantries. Merlin Gonzales was born in the Philippines and now lives with his wife, Annie, in Noblesville, IN. He has two children, Andrew and Kayla.
